Part of it seems to actually be genetic. I’ve heard that Asian babies actually cry less than others.
And then part of it would be that they’ve been civilized for a Very long time, longer than most of the rest of us.

Because most americans have both unrealistic and idealistic views of how perfect asians are. For some kinds of asians, i would agree, for other kinds i disagree with your statements. And, by this i mean based on a majority of people I have interacted with/seen, not everyone (obviously). The difference is how they are brought up.
Ultimately though, the image a lot of americans have about asians is skewed. Asian-americans are not a completely different story from native Asians, but they are significantly different.

Asians have more etiquette than other races in public because they are taught discipline better/earlier/more strictly…
However, in a group of friends there’s all types of varied etiquette.
