I have to do this thing for cooking class and I need to find a country that has unusual manners and etiquette. What is a good country?? Please help!!
Have a look at South Africa in google. In some of the rural areas men and women eat separately. Other ideas: Jordanian customs – men are served the choicest bits of meat and the women get the scraps!
It’s not like we need it to survive. I mean when it is last time that we need to stop farting in a gas station because the smell of the fart, the gasoline, and any spark that could cause an explosion. Which is BS.
And we don’t have to use forks when we eat or to take a shower every single day. So What’s the deal with the manners and politeness?
Who invented these "manners," anyway?
Its all pointless 12 12 12 is the end so who cares right?
The rude, clumsy puppet Mr. Bungle shows kids how to behave in the school cafeteria – the assumption being that kids actually want to behave during lunch. This film has a cult following since it appeared on a Pee Wee Herman HBO special

I want my siblings and cousins to be very nice people that have manners and loyalty and everything but also know how to have fun and be kids and everything. How can i help teach them to have good manners and loyalty and everything?
Kids are all ages
Right now they are ok but i want them to be real good at it.
Lead by example. That’s the best way to teach kids. If they look up to you and enjoy your company they will pick up these good behaviors. If they are small and asking for something without saying please or thank you encourage it. I remember my grandmother when I was a child when I asked for something and didn’t say please she would always say "what do you say??" and if I didn’t say something she would follow it up with a "say please". If I didn’t say thank-you she would always say "say thank-you". Overtime its just something you get used to. My kids are 2yrs and 3yrs and are both very polite. They are a little excessive with it (i.e. my daughter thanks me for changing her diaper and my son for making him meals), but at least they get the point. I never really pushed them to do it, I just thanked them when they did something for me and said please when I asked something of them. They seen how I used my words and picked it up quick. =)

I have to write a reaction paper to the state of manners and etiquette in the United States. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find any websites that show how manners have or haven’t changed from the past to the present.
So I guess what I need is your opinions on the state of manners in the United States.
Thanks in advance.
I believe as Westerners, we have been overly influenced by the media, television and movies. We don’t dress, or act the way we used to. So much respect for the country, men and women have been lost. Some issues I have with the change in manners include: 1) Men don’t remove their hats when they enter a building 2) We don’t honor our elderly anymore 3) "Good" teachers are not respected 4) People have lost the idea of appropriate dress for certain occasions 5) Eating habits have changed in public places and at home 6) Students show little respect to teachers, parents and other adults 7) Men don’t open doors for women much anymore . There are many more examples where etiquette and manners have changed from the past to the present, but we’d be here for another hour for me to complete my list.
